Shifts/Availability: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $12.00- $18.00
About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.
Position Purpose: The Jennersville YMCA is looking for a Housekeeper to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility and to assist with room set-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and perform custodial functions
- Maintain a safe environment for members, participants and general public while performing work duties
- Locker room cleanliness and trash removal
- Assist with occasional grounds maintenance tasks
- Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic custodial equipment and functions
- Ability to relate well with staff and general public
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have HS diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 year experience required
- Experience with floor machines is preferred
