Job Description: OMNIA Partners - Private Sector Member Development Team is looking for a Member Development Manager (MDM) to drive growth within a territory of corporate members. This position involves making outgoing phone calls, hosting virtual meetings with members, and leveraging numerous supplier partner offerings to increase sales. The candidate will cultivate relationships to drive utilization of our solutions within client organizations. The MDM will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
 

The Private Sector MDM will use a consultative selling approach to establish sustainable relationships with key executives and decision-makers across supply chain, IT, operations, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide solutions to a wide variety of needs. Prioritization and the ability to effectively manage time and multiple tasks are key success factors. The selected candidate will have a tremendous opportunity to accelerate growth for the nation's premier group purchasing organization (GPO).
 

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct and schedule meetings with customers via phone and email communication.
  • Appropriately manages member prospecting and connect directly with customers. This position will focus on the target markets of clients that have less than $500M in company sales. The MDM will be responsible for generating immediate, compelling customer interest, ensuring that the offerings present sufficient value to generate a willingness to continue engage with a supplier.
  • Ability to prioritize contacts and customers to align the largest opportunity for growth.
  • Initiate exploratory discussions to schedule specific follow-up sales calls with suppliers to continue facilitating the buying processes.
  • Build and maintain long standing relationships with both customers and supplier partners.
  • Connect customers with supplier partners and provide prompt and continuous follow up.
  • Respond to customer and supplier questions/requests courteously and with urgency.
  • Accurately capture customer information within Salesforce.com.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a positive experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other web-based programs. Experience with Salesforce.com or similar online CRM application
  • Team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrix selling environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (emphasis in Business, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations)
  • Prior Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Prior Salesforce or CRM experience
