Overview:

Prometric is looking for a dynamic Sr. Copywriter to take a lead role in the conceptualization, design, copywriting, and production of content marketing and corporate-branded materials. In order to be successful in this role, you are a natural storyteller who has a passion for designing compelling print and digital collateral. Leverage your creativity and talent to visually translate the Prometric brand through various mediums including presentations, emails, websites, static and interactive content marketing collateral, promotional campaigns assets, video production, animations, and more. You’ll work with cross-functional internal teams as well as external vendor and/or freelance support to fully manage the execution of all copyrighting and design needs. Competence in software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, some knowledge of HTML and/or other tools for web and digital/video design is a must. In addition, you possess a strong ability to multitask and prioritize projects accordingly based on due dates, while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. This role requires someone who is versatile, capable of elevating our story through compelling copy, while exploring new concepts and impactful designs, as well as exhibits strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conceptualize, research, write, and design high-quality creative content that aligns with business goals, such as articles, case studies, presentations, video scripts, guides, eBooks, infographics, email copy, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the marketing team to ensure copy and design work together to communicate the subject matter in a clear and understandable way.
  • Help implement SEO best-practices to boost our visibility and ranking across search engines. 
  • Evolve, enhance, and maintain the company’s identity by working within the corporate brand guidelines, while still being creative.
  • Ensure internal workflow processes and deadlines are met; keeping key stakeholders informed throughout design development process.
  • Solicit feedback from key stakeholders on all materials produced, while ensuring proper updates are incorporated in respective design assets.
  • Maintain quality control in regards to file preparation, versions, and approvals; maintain assets and electronic files on a shared server.
  • Maintain partnership with external vendors for additional design support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or related field. 
  • 7 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the Education / Assessment Industry.
  • Must have prior content marketing experience.
  • Must be able to craft creative concepts and execute messaging across a wide array of channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premier Pro.
  • Familiarity with web development platforms such as WordPress and Unbounce.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Proven experience with editing videos and video editing software.
  • Ability to synthesize information to develop creative, innovative design solutions serving diverse business requirements across multiple markets and product lines.
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritizing as needed in order to meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible to work independently and solve problems, under general guidance of supervisor; keeping supervisor informed of needs.
  • Ability to work on multiple campaigns at once in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as strong organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail is a must!
