Maintenance - Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY  

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the condition of the facilities, minor mechanical repairs and re-buildsThis individual is also responsible for fabrication and project work when required.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform PM and minor mechanical repairs.  

  • Change oil and grease machines. 

  • All building maintenance and repairs 

  • Develop troubleshooting skills and techniques for equipment repairs. 

  • Responsible for maintaining lock out tag out procedures. 

  • Responsible for maintaining the facilities infrastructure, both internal and external  

  • Fabricate, build equipment and components for projects. 

  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area. 

  • Perform all other duties assigned by Management team. 

 

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE   

  • High school Diploma 

  • 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience required.

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time.  

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly. 

  • Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with an assist. 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT  

Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment that may have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease. Ability to work in an environment that may be either hot, cold or humid.
