As a Customer Services Department team member, you will help fulfil the promise that Central makes to our customers by recognizing, understanding, and responding to the needs of our internal and external customers. We are seeking individuals with a service first mentality and effective communication skills, all while maintaining a high level of attention to details.

  • Providing outstanding customer service when handling calls to and from policyholders, agents, and other internal customers
  • Developing, demonstrating, and applying knowledge of policy, claims, and billing systems
  • Screening and processing automated transactions for policies


What your qualifications may look like:

  • Providing outstanding customer service when handling calls to and from policyholders, agents, and other internal customers
  • Developing, demonstrating, and applying knowledge of policy
  • Screening and processing automated transactions for policies
  • Average data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Will work scheduled shift of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST Monday through Friday
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Commitment to superior customer service, conflict resolution, and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport with each customer, both internal and external, by actively listening and assertively responding to their needs
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally using proper grammar both orally and in writing
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet required deadlines and work independently
  • Exercise initiative and judgment while researching and responding to customer inquiries
  • Adapt quickly to change
  • Preferred:
    • Property & Casualty Insurance License
