You’d be responsible for providing a safe work environment for our team members by overseeing the health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, standards, codes, at our McDonough, GA location. We need a hands-on leader with a background in general process and food safety functions to help lead our teams. Reporting to the Director of Safety, you’d partner with your sites’ leadership team to provide clear goals and communicate regularly to promote a safe work environment. Essential Skill Sets: Is this You?

• BA or BS degree strongly encouraged, continuing technical education or comparable business experience preferred
• OSHA 10/30 hr and/or OSHA General Duty courses preferred
• OSHA, EPA, and Code of Federal Regulations Knowledge
• Job-Related Software Applications such as EPSM and SDS
• Food Safety Knowledge and Handling Procedures
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Hands-On and Approachable
• Solutions Oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a noisy warehouse with freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees
• Independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to handle and be near products that may contain food allergens such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.
