The International Product Development Coordinator performs a broad range of tasks to assist the product development team. They create and maintain product specifications, pricing and other documentation. They track and confirm shipments and deliveries, help organize and maintain production calendars, and coordinate meetings. They may be involved in strategic planning and creative development. This role may involve handling materials, samples, sketches, and models. The coordinators provide general administrative and logistical support such as data analysis, creating spreadsheets, presentations and entering data into product life cycle management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering and product management manage the end-to-end product development life cycle 
  • Has awareness of project details, deliverables and timelines
  • Provide assistance with industry regulatory requirements for product launch, pre-market submissions/registrations and post-market compliance. Work closely with regulatory bodies globally
  • Scope product releases, agree to and track business priorities and investments
  • Lead resolution of functional and cross-functional issues, cross-project and financial process improvements, and departmental initiatives.
  • Ability to solve moderately complex tasks or problems and make decisions that positively impact the function
  • Contribute towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility
  • Maintain departmental tools and reports
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure department and business objectives are met in a timely manner
  • Manage data related to products across all phases of the development cycle
  • Act as liaison between the product development team and marketing for pre- and post-launch activities
  • Take on special projects as deemed appropriate by senior management
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing or communications or equivalent experience in administrative support or a related role 
  • Must be highly organized, detailed oriented, and able to adapt to varying daily tasks 
  • Fluent in computing, time management, and technical language 
  • Posses strong work-ethic, is a collaborator, and a professional at all times 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities 
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite and problem solving. 

Physical Requirements

Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
