Job Title: Adaptive Program Instructor- Part Time 

Branch: Upper Main Line YMCA 
Location: Berwyn, PA 
Shifts/Availability: 
Tuesday 4-8pm, Thursday 4-6 pm, Friday 6-9 pm

Starting Pay $13.00-$16.00/ hour

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.  
   

Position Purpose Seeking an individual that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities, to support in instructing numerous adaptive programs, including fitness, bowling, and social nights.  
 

   

Responsibilities:   

  • Support individuals who have disabilities while they participate in programming  
  • Encourage skill development in a supportive environment 
  • Implementing program curriculum  
  • Have fun! 

  

 Qualifications:   

  • Minimum 1 years of related work or volunteer experience (working with children or adults with disabilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in special education, behavioral/social sciences, child development, psychology, or education - or working towards degree.
