The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Custodian/Janitor for the Metro Atlanta Area Command, located in Atlanta, Georgia
Job Summary
Cleans and maintains the Kitchen and all equipment's to ensure the neatness and cleanliness on a daily basis.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for Kitchen department, Ability
to follow instructions and work independently.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Six months experience in performing general housekeeping duties or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the require knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications
None
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions. Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
Ability to exert the physical energy required in performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work.
Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
