Divisional Digital Marketing Specialist
The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Corps Accountant in the NSC Division.
The Divisional Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the management, content development, monitoring, support, and training for The Salvation Army North and South Carolina Division’s digital marketing platforms and digital marketing program and social media pages; creates, designs, maintains, and updates the current social media pages, platforms, and programs for the Division to ensure user access, freshness of content, increased online engagement, and raising awareness of The Salvation Army; provides training and support related to digital marketing. Serves as back up support for the Divisional Graphic Design and Web Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of graphic design and layout. Knowledge of multiple media design software applications and Internet and ability to use the same. Knowledge of current and emerging trends in digital media design, technology, and software combined with a high level of creativity for opportunities to further the mission of The Salvation Army. Knowledge of the principles of video and photo editing.
Knowledge of The Salvation Army & Boys & Girls Clubs graphic standards for usage of the logos and graphic elements. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with Salvation Army officers, employees, member of advisory organizations, and a diverse group of people and remain sensitive to their concerns. Ability to be self-motivated and manage time effectively and efficiently. Ability to creatively design, create, analyze, and learn new techniques for producing digital content. Ability to problem solve, manage multiple tasks or projects with an attention to detail, meet deadlines, set priorities and work under pressure. Ability to be creative and uninhibited about offering or providing input with new ideas. Ability to work independently and participate in a team environment. Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing including the providing of clear instructions to employees. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment and exercise confidentiality. Ability to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field, and two years’ experience in digital marketing, or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
