Position Type:  Part-Time/Hourly

Pay Rate:  $9.75

About this opportunity: 

  • Acts as lead worker to other sorting room workers; receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store.
  • Determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards.
  • Assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the sorting room area.
  • Responds to customer questions.
  • Acts as backup to Truck Driver during any absences or vacancies. 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Six months warehouse work experience performing similar work, or
  • any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Valid State Driver's License 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements; ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively; ability to read and follow a map and/or hand-written directions; ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing; ability to drive a box truck safely and in compliance with laws, policies, and regulations; moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

Work is usually performed in a normal warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changed in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, with the exception of driving conditions.
