JOB PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Sr. Inventory Associate, the Inventory Associate is responsible for managing inventory

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Receiving merchandise
  • Putting merchandise in appropriate location
  • Reviewing stock for expired medications and replacing
  • Assist with automation process

EDUCATION:

 

  • HS diploma required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Experience with inventory management in a pharmacy setting.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:                  

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Must have a strong patient centered focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency to navigate proprietary and other software
  • Able to multi-task
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to stand at stations for entire shift and lift up to 20lbs.
  • Reliable

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

Regularly lifts office and clinical supplies weighing up to five pounds; occasionally lifts or carries up to thirty pounds.  May occasionally push/pull when unpacking supplies.  Climbs step stool to access supply or filing shelves. Bends when unpacking supplies, may reach or twist to handle supplies/files. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Will be assigned to a primary work location, working in the distribution center. Will be assigned a shift that is subject to change with occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
