The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing HR information systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations. The HRIS Specialist possesses a strong understanding of HR processes and technologies, has exceptional analytical skills, and collaborates effectively across departments

 

  • HRIS Management 
    • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the HRIS system. 
    • Ensure data integrity by regularly auditing and cleansing HR data. 
    • Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements, implementing changes as needed.
    • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to HR and other users. 
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate custom reports and analytics to support HR and business objectives. 
    • Analyze HR data trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and strategic opportunities. 
    • Develop and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reports for HR and management. 
  • Compliance and Data Security
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws. 
    • Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive HR data. 
    • Monitor and update HR policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes. 
  • Training and Support 
    • Provide training and support to HR staff and other system users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
    • Develop training materials and documentation for system users.
    • Serve as a point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issue resolution. 
  • Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to streamline HR processes through system automation and optimization.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the HRIS.
    • Participate in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and integrations. 

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 
    • Proven experience (3 years) working with HR information systems, preferably in a large organization. 
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices. 
    • Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
    • Certification in HRIS or related field is a plus.
