To strengthen our support for TAI employees, we are actively searching for a Benefits & Compensation Manager. This role involves overseeing our organization’s compensation and benefits program, including health and welfare benefits, as well as managing associated policies and procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will champion our employee value proposition, ensuring our team members receive the best possible assistance.

 

Overview:

 

  • Collaborates with the CPO and Director of HR to lead organizational benefit design to ensure benefit programs meet staff needs, are competitive and cost effective, legally compliant, and effectively communicated. 
  • Serve as primary benefits point of contact with internal stakeholders, vendors and consultants. 
  • Determines needs for employee awareness and education regarding benefits and collaborates on the development and/or delivery of training. 
  • Maintain primary relationship with benefit brokers for all lines of coverage to ensure the benefit packages are in alignment with organization mission and values and drive compliance with benefit-related laws and regulations. 
  • Partners with Human Resources leadership to conduct the annual review of the organization’s salary structure and the analysis of staff pay against other incumbents and the external market. 
  • Provides expertise related to the compensation program and best practices for salary determination for new hires, promotions, and adjustments. 
  • Conducts FLSA and market analyses of new and updated positions. 
  • Oversees participation in salary surveys and ensures organizational compensation goals are achieved. 
  • Appropriately respond to leave requests with appropriate documentation as required by the Family Medical Leave Act and any other jurisdictional requirements. 
  • Act as primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns and follow up regarding Leaves, Worker’s Comp and Accommodations   

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field 
  • Minimum (7) years of experience in managing compensation and benefit programs emphasizing equity. 
  • Knowledge base in regulatory and legislative impacts to both compensation and benefit programs 
  • Experience developing and managing benefits packages including producing metrics, and negotiating insurance contracts with vendors, brokers, and consultants. 
  • Direct experience administering leave of absence and accommodations in a multi-state and/or international organization
  • Health care experience, working with an HRIS, current system: Dayforce and or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or equivalent preferred
