Dishwasher
The Ware Washer will ensure that wares for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized.
Duties and Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
1.Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
2.Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
3.Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
4.Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
5.Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
6.May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
7.Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
8.Responsible for putting stock away and cleaning including mopping and sanitizing the kitchen after closing.
9.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
•Restaurant experience preferred.
•Ability to understand and follow directions.
•Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
•Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast- paced.
•Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
•Detail-oriented and thorough.
•Prolonged periods walking or standing.
•Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
•Must be able to bend head and body forward and downward.
•Must be able to frequently immerse hands in water.
•Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.

Work Environment
•Frequent standing and walking as well as bending forward and trunk rotation while standing
•Frequent pushing, pulling, balancing and reaching both above and below shoulders
•Vision – must have the ability to adjust focus as well as frequent use of close, peripheral and depth/distance vision
•Hands/Fingers – frequent use of fine motor skills
•Occasional squatting and kneeling
•Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
