Summary:
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for a variety of warehouse duties in the shipping and receiving area which will include filing, receipt and storage of materials, mail processing, deliveries, and coordination of shipping of goods.
• Will set up and maintain an accurate inventory of parts, raw materials, and chemicals
• Perform initial quality control according to spec’d documents of incoming material
• Will assist in establishing and maintaining new area for storing spare parts/ materials
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each position.
Required Qualifications
Experience and/or Training:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Ability to learn Oracle purchasing/ inventory system
•Able to multi-task and handle multiple functions
•Proficient and accurate PC/keyboarding skills. Proficient with MS Office Productivity Suite (Excel, Word) and email.
•Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially for collaborating with others internally and externally to accomplish goals and resolve issues.
•Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree
Experience and/or Training:
•Previous logistics functions experience
•Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management system
•Hands-on approach to maintaining inventory levels and supervising supply volumes
•High attention to detail
•Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously and priorities to meet business needs
•Forklift certified
