Inventory Analyst

Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory levels across the network for the entire M. Holland Company portfolio through management of transfer orders, intercompany orders, and production orders. This position is initially a highly transactional position which requires a high level of organization and eye for detail. Also, this will be a business-critical role, leading projects, and major initiatives. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required due to the high level of cross-functional collaboration in this role.

 

Critical Activities

  • Manage Production Orders to the Warehousing Team for completion
  • Manage and releases Transfer Orders to Logistics Team
  • Builds efficient and full loads across the network
  • Sets up intercompany orders and release to Client Experience Team
  • Leads Inventory Remediation Initiative for reducing Aged/Quality Hold Inventory
  • Assists Claims Team with facilitating Recycling Process
  • Collaborates with Commercial and Product Management for inventory optimization
  • Develops, implements, and presents root cause analysis and corrective action for issues and
  • process improvements
  • Leading and Managing Projects with cross-functional teams
  • Leads and participates in various S&OP Activities
  • Inventory Optimization to support reducing Aged Inventory to achieve Working Capital goals
  • Works with developer teams to gather requirements and create D365 ERP solution

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain or Operations related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in production scheduling, supply & demand planning,
  • purchasing or inventory management
  • Strong analytic skills; ERP, Word, Advanced Excel
  • APICS certification is a plus
  • Strong Leadership skills and influence management
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate across multiple departments and
  • through multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience leading and participating in Sales & Operations Planning
  • Experience with Distribution & Resale a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing fast paced environment and consistently meet tight
  • timelines
  • Excellent collaborative management skills
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
  • Capability to create project plans with established activities and timeline
