Luau Photographer - Kauai

Luau Kalamaku (Located on Kauai, Hawaii)  is currently looking for Assistants/Trainee Photographers to work with us.
 

We are currently looking for people to work with us part time from 4:00pm-9:30pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and possible Mondays.  We’re looking for dependable people who have an energetic work style and who can communicate well with others. Not only do we take guests' photos but we also sell the photos at the end of the night.  Photography experience is a plus, but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidates to use our equipment and to take quality portraits photos for guests at our luau.
 

Candidates are required to attend an in-person interview. If hired, candidates will work with us on location and be trained on site to take photographs, edit photos, and sell photos. 
 

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates must be able to dress professionally with consideration for neatness and cleanliness. Aloha attire and black shoes are required and are expected to be worn.

Candidates must be dependable. We expect our employees to have proper time management skills and to work event schedules that they agree to in advance. This includes having the ability to be on-time and adhere to a schedule. They must be willing to work on holidays that fall on scheduled luau days.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Setting up equipment and other items before guests arrive

• Help Guests as they arrive; working as a team to assistant helping guests and photographers as needed to be able to take quality photos

• Assisting editors with edits and getting photos for selling

• Using company equipment to take good quality photos of guests

• Assist in selling photos to guest before the end of the night
