The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing a variety of tasks related to services which support the Consulting Settlement Funds department. These tasks may include communication with internal and external clients, project planning and delivery, along with gathering and maintaining relevant customer data.  This position may support other Consulting areas as needed.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school GED or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, paralegal, legal assistant, claims analysis, or administrative assistant support capacity is required.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively, efficiently, and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and project management skill capabilities.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environment and within a diverse group of individuals.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively independently and within a team structure.
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Technically proficient to perform at an intermediate or advanced level with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in preparation of proposals, as directed.
  • Supports business development activities such as:
    • Conducting market research and analyzing market data.
    • Capturing details into CRM system.
    • Generate reports as needed.
    • Communicate with clients and prospective clients.
    • Performs administrative support tasks.
  • Manages and updates SalesForce and/or other CRM applications.
  • Reviews information provided by prospective clients and working with the Business Development team, creates project estimates and collaborates on marketing efforts.
  • Documents procedures performed, findings and/or other issues, and drafts/compiles reports, and client correspondence.
  • Identifies issues/concerns and communicates such items to supervisors.
  • Maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing standards. 
  • May be required to work overtime during the work week or on weekends.
  • May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
