- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their products/services, and negotiate contracts that meet the company's requirements.
- Evaluate contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specifications, evaluate bids, and make recommendations to achieve optimal value from procurement initiatives.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from vendor selection to contract management and performance evaluation.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, including amendments, addendums, and other relevant documents.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or disputes that arise during the contract term.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and contracts management.
- Work closely with key decision makers to provide guidance and support on procurement and contracting needs, including lease agreements.
- Experience in Real Estate Contracts/Law strongly desired.
- BA/BS or relevant experience required.
- Proven experience as a Procurement/Contracts Specialist, with a focus on leasing agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to procurement and contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using procurement and contract management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
