Broadmoor Agency (part of the PCF Insurance Services Network) is a full-service insurance agency located in Rockford, IL and serving our community since 1952. We provide insurance services to the local and surrounding communities in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Broadmoor Agency has experienced, licensed agents and staff that are well versed in a variety of insurance coverages…from personal insurance to commercial coverages. We also design and create employee benefits packages as well as offer individual Health, Life and Medicare Products.

 

Job Summary: 

As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting commercial insurance clients in managing their policies, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with insurance agents, underwriters, and clients to provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information
  • Answer billing and cancellation questions
  • Analyze customer’s complaints and recommend solutions and follow up to ensure they are satisfied
  • Provide customers details about the company’s products and services
  • Send newsletters, mailings, and other forms of correspondence to customers
  • Assist clients in filling of policy documents and contact them whenever any error is discovered, or when it needs to be corrected
  • Receive visiting customers and provide them with necessary assistance
  • Receive reports of claims and communicate reports of investigations to clients
  • Update the agency management system with current and correct information and changes
  • Attach all correspondence with carrier / customer in agency management system
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up to carrier and insured
  • Work well with deadlines
  • Answer and return calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Work as a team with the department, helping others when needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty license is highly preferred, if not willingness to obtain
  • Customer Service experience is required, if not licensed
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be motivated and driven

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive, DOE

 

Schedule:

  • M-F, FT
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
