Job Summary:
This is a lead service position responsible for providing exceptional customer service, retaining existing client relationships, and contributing to sales goals by actively seeking cross-sell and referral opportunities. This individual will act as a liaison between the client, producer, and insurance carrier by conducting regular policy reviews in office and by phone, quoting new business, as well as compare rates at annual renewals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Accurately process insurance requests for financial institutions in a timely manner
- Stay up to date on trends and techniques; use agency & industry selling aids to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace
- Determine insurance needs and offer appropriate solutions
- Bind coverage within the limits established by the carriers and agency contracts and ensure submissions are complete and accurate
- Clearly document all actions and correspondence into system and follow up in a timely manner
- Maintain production reports and attend all meetings as required
- Assist with training as needed
- Back up other members of the Personal Lines team as needed
- Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management
Qualifications:
- Ability to uncover cross-sell opportunities and close sales
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, listening, written and verbal
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Possess a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Prefer 3-years insurance industry experience
Compensation:
- $23.00 - $25.00 / HR DOE
