Warehouse/Bulk Hub Lead
Saturdays Off.
TITLE: Bulk Journeyperson DEPARTMENT: Bulk Hub
STATUS: PT/FT, Journeyperson, Union, Hourly REPORTS TO: Bulk Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: To ensure the highest level of service possible to Outpost’s internal and external customers. Process store orders for bulk products. Maintain well stocked, organized, and clean bulk storage and backstock.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse setting. Occasional in high precarious places (i.e. ladder work). Ability to work in moderate and loud noise environments including, but not limited to: paging, telephones, human voices, and machinery. Position requires working during busy retail times, which include weekends, afternoons, and evenings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Customer Service
- Treat people fairly, consistently, and with respect.
- Ensure efficient, informative, and friendly service according to established customer service vision and standards.
2. Bulk Department Responsibilities
Department Operations
- Stock deliveries.
- Prepare orders for Outpost retail locations.
- Pre-pack bulk items; bag and label products for sale.
- Write off damaged, credit, and return items.
- Clean shelves and floors in bulk storage.
- Maintain organized and neat bulk storage areas.
- Advise bulk coordinator of equipment / replacement needs.
- Assist in quarterly inventory of bulk department.
- Perform all duties included in department clerk job descriptions.
Personnel
- Delegate duties to bulk hub staff and ensure they are always busy.
- Positively encourage department staff to excel at their job.
- Replace vacant shifts when call ins, etc. occur. Notify coordinator of these occurrences.
- Assist in training department staff.
- Assist bulk hub staff in following department standard operating procedures.
3. All Staff Duties
- Abide by all Co-op policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company documents.
- Keep store orderly and clean.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by department coordinator or supervisory staff.

- Previous experience with stocking in a retail or warehouse setting preferred

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching
- Using hands or fingers to handle or feel
- Specific vision ability: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Regular use of sharp cutting instruments
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
