Event Manager

 

Job Overview: The Event Manager will be responsible for assisting in planning and delivering all OMNIA Partners branded events across multiple departments. The Event Manager will assist in conceptualizing along with preparing and managing event timelines. A successful candidate must be enthusiastic, be able to anticipate project needs and meet deadlines. This role requires a professional who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be supportive to organizational growth and change.

Reports to: Director, Events
 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of meetings/conferences/events/tradeshows including pre-planning, onsite execution, post-event reconciliation, coordination of vendor management, registration, exhibitor management and sourcing
  • Manage and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, vendors, speakers, and venues
  • Ensure adherence to all deadlines and budgets are met
  • Proactively manage event scope and coordinate event contingency plans
  • Work jointly with team to propose suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the event’s objectives are met
  • Demonstrates flexibility with assigned tasks
  • Provide administrative support to all events
  • Knowledge of exhibitor kits, sponsorships, and tradeshow logistics
  • Assist in building project plan and management of calendar of events
  • Create, write, and edit content for multiple event invitations, internal, and external websites
  • Assist in rooming list management, arrival/departure manifests, and personalized itineraries
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Marketing or Public Relations a plus or relevant experience in Hotel Management or with Corporate Events
  • 3-5 years industry related professional experience
  • Proficiency in event software, Canva, CVENT, Attendee Hub, On Arrival, Social Tables, and Salesforce
  • Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently/self-starter and collaborate as a team
  • Demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work directly with suppliers and vendors in a responsible, appropriate, and service orientated manner
  • Industry terminology and comprehensive knowledge of meeting planning a plus
  • Persuasive and results orientated
  • Travel will be required
