Job Description:

• Assembles and portions beverage/food items for the meal service
• Sets up steam table with the menu items in preparation for meal service
• Serves hot and cold food items according to the diet order for 30 Elders from the Neighborhood kitchen
• Returns all beverage/food items to their proper storage area at the end of the meal service labeled and dated per departmental guidelines
• Cleans neighborhood kitchen and beverage center area after each meal service and responsible for the overall sanitation
• Ensures all perishable food items are labeled and dated to assure freshness of product per department guidelines
• Responsible for following FIFO method when stocking

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months line/grill cook experience in a moderate volume setting
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Ability to push loaded food carts distances of 300 to 400 FT. and lift or move objects up to 50 LBS.
