Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for various maintenance and repair projects at our corporate building and all the retail stores.
  

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Light patchwork and painting
• Assist in emergency situations, specifically calls after hours
• Set up showcases at stores
• General building/store repairs
• Lifting, stocking of supplies, cleanup, and moving materials and tools
• Clean, repair and trouble shoot to fix machines in Factory
• Landscape maintenance
• Janitorial services as needed
• Operate machinery
• Special renovation projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
• Clean driving record
• Stand for long periods
• Bend, squat, twist to small and awkward areas
• Work in different environment indoor/outdoor and various temperatures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry experience preferred
• 1 year related experience involving building trades or operation and service to buildings and facilities or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License'
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in oral, written or diagram form   
• Ability to work in environment with moderate noise level
• Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures and perform work in a safe manner  

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Special projects will be assigned as needed.
