Maui Divers Jewelry is seeking professional creative and 3D modeler to design for our award-winning line of Jewelry. This is an exciting, well-compensated position for an industrial/product designer who is looking to grow technically in the highly competitive national jewelry manufacturing industry.  Candidates should be self-motivated, be able to follow brief directions, have a passion for jewelry, and possess the computer design skills to bring new designs from concept to completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three years of experience modelling organic forms in Rhinoceros or equivalent CAD program
• The ability to rapidly turn concept sketches into closed accurate 3D models and prototype them
• The creativity to develop original product lines when necessary
• Attention to detail and an ability to work with a team of other designers
• Must be comfortable with peer evaluation in a collaboration environment
• Be able to self-manage projects + deadlines
• All applicants must provide samples of their work in addition to a current resume

OTHER QUALITIES:

• Experience with organic 3D modelling, engineering + rapid prototyping
• Experience with custom design is highly desirable.

Special projects will be assigned as needed.
