Barback

The Barback position at the WTR Pool & Grill located inside The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas is primarily responsible for keeping the bar area of the restaurant fully stocked, clean, and ultimately providing the guests with efficient bar service.

Essential Functions: 

1. Keeps the bar stocked with Liquor, syrup, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service hours.
2. Prepares garnishes, cuts fruit, refill ice wells, stock beer, straws, and all other bar items.
3. Clean up the spills, take out the garbage and organize bar area.
4. Keep the bar area clean and organized. Sweep and mop floors.
5. Coordinate with managers, bar staff, security, and servers to ensure efficient service to customers.
6. Handle emergency situations like broken glassware, clogged drains, and leaks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must work well in high demand situations.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
3. Must have strong communication skills.
4. Must have the desire and ability to serve guests.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Previous experience in restaurant kitchen setting preferred.
