Location: Bethel, Alaska
Position Type: Seasonal, Non-Regular
Salary: Hourly, Davis-Bacon rates applicable per contract
Responsibilities:
- Attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position.
- Secure transportation of material products to designated locations.
- Verify the type of material hauled and its weight accurately.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Comply with all company safety policies, including the use of protective equipment and Fit for Work guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements:
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equal experience.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A per FMCSA regulations.
- Experience driving end dumps, belly dumps, and side dump trucks with aggregate/asphalt hauling is preferred.
- Some knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a high-production environment efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensures a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- Pre-hire drug test required.
