Paid Internship Opportunity: Project Management (COO/PMO) Internship


Location: Columbia, SC OR Charlotte, NC


Summer Internship Timeframe: June 2023 – August 2023


Pay: $20.00/ per hour
 

Internship Details and Learning Experience:

As an intern for Project Management at Segra, you will be working closely with the company's Project Management team, and you will have a hands-on opportunity to assist in managing the day-to-day tactical aspects of multiple cross-functional projects, ranging from small to large scale. Have the opportunity to be a liaison on projects to ensure that they meet timelines, scope, and financial goals, as well as identifying and mitigating risks across projects. You will also be supporting the identification of project issues across multiple projects, as well as maintaining processes and procedures related to Project Management. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity in assuring that new projects are identified and developed in accordance with the standards set within the Project Management Office (PMO). In addition to your project management duties, you will also get to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external agencies.


Specific degree or skill requirements/prerequisites:

Majors: Business, or 1-2 years of College/University level courses for Project Management.

Skill Requirements: Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects. Demonstrated clear, informative, persuasive and collaborative verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must exhibit honesty, integrity and courtesy in all interactions. Must possess strong work ethic in supporting customer needs, responding promptly and consistently.
