Are you interested in working alongside a talented team in putting together an in-depth and engaging Sports section and website? Are you interested in getting closer to the action by compiling scores, stats and recaps?
 

The Free Lance Star department is looking for a versatile part-time clerk to keep readers up-to-date on all the games.
 

Primary duties include taking information from coaches and compiling it for publication and online. Candidates should have basic computer and typing skills, good phone skills, savvy social media chops, an ability to work efficiently under the pressure of deadline and have an eye for detail. Our part-timers will occasionally write stories and features, and cover games and events, so writing skills are a plus.
 

Fridays and Saturdays are our big nights, and if you want to be where the action is, consider joining our team.
