Journal Star News Intern-2023 Fall Semester
Internships with the Journal Star are open to talented, web-savvy writers interested in working closely with the online desk and public safety reporters. In addition to covering breaking news and generating general assignment stories, interns assist reporters in covering news events for the web — live tweeting, writing quick, meaningful updates and searching for unique ways to present content online.
The Lincoln Journal Star has several newsroom intern openings for the 2023 fall semester. Hours include weekends and evenings. We pay interns $15/hour.
- Fall internships: begin mid-August and end in December, part time (10-18 hours/week).
