One day you may be talking to the family of a shooting victim. The next week you may be at a business opening. And your next day’s schedule could change at the drop of the hat when you grab a camera and get over to an active house fire. And through that you’ll be working on projects about local problems, whether they be housing issues to questionable uses of public funds, to bringing attention to unsolved cold cases.
This is true local journalism we’re doing here.
The Journal Times is a place to learn and grow, but more importantly to make an impact on a community that benefits from local news.
