The Action 

The Grand Island Independent, a Lee Enterprises, Inc. publication, is seeking a candidate to to join our press team in a training capacity to learn how to operate our printing press for the Grand Island Independent and numerous other Midwest newspapers.  

The Team 

The Press team works together to produce print products according to customer specifications and within deadlines. Job duties include loading newsprint, making pasters, monitoring reel stands, setting ink densities, registration, filling ink fountains, setting folder, plate making and clean up as needed.
