Hourly Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 (depending on years of experience)

Schedule: Flexible days and times, may include weekends/evenings

Location: Glendale and/or Mesa ARIZONA

Caseload (up to 10 clients): clients assigned in the location of hire

 

Education & Experience

  • High School or GED required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with diverse populations.
  • Background in social work, foster care knowledge, crisis intervention, child development, family support and educational environment a PLUS!
  • Additional merit if you have prior experience in child welfare!

 

Responsibilities

  • Use your personal vehicle to conduct home/community visits to meet with child and family on a regular basis.
  • Ability to coach, teach and model skills to help youth meet goals to overcome challenges (common areas include social/coping skills, growing healthy relationships and independent living skills).
  • Notes/documentation is completed during each visit/session; submit significant/routine paperwork on a regular basis (progress notes, statistic reports, daily activities, upcoming events, special concerns, varied incident reports).
  • Provide information, education and guidance to clients based on family needs.
  • Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Attend and report findings during Child & Family Team (CFT) meetings as needed.
  • Engages in family centered, strength-based treatment planning and coordination.
  • Trainings/meetings are usually completed virtually from home; however, we do offer our office space if an office setting is preferred.

Compliance

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean 39-month driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to obtain Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card immediately upon hire (if there are any uncertainties whether an applicant may have to go through an appeal process; they are encouraged to complete that process prior to applying as an invalid card will result in termination of employment)
