FLSA Status: Non- Exempt
HOURS: 8am - 5pm M-F
* This position is located in the office in Rockford, IL
SUMMARY
Work with owner operators and vendors to resolve account discrepancies. Handle calls pertaining to all aspects of LCAPP and assist callers in understanding and using Landstar’s purchasing programs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work with vendors to resolve outstanding issues
- Issue purchase orders for contractor tire purchases
- Reconcile weekly and monthly reports
- Assist in the marketing/administration of the ELD (Electronic Logging Data) program, fuel and tire program, and trailer sales

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Internet, required
Working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint, preferred
Data entry skills, 80 kpm
Knowledge of Landstar's iSeries 400 system, preferred
Professional phone etiquette
Good verbal and written skills
Good customer service skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: High school diploma, required
Minimum Experience: One to three months experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, credit memos, warranty information, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
