Job Title: BCO Field Rep

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

In Office - Field Operations Center - Ft Worth, TX

This position will require a CDL and doubles endorsement and double experience.  This is not a driving job but will require the candidate to perform doubles driving tests on occasion as well as other possible driving tests.

SUMMARY

Champion department mission to help drivers be successful business owners. Support, direct and educate driver’s to ensure their long term success with Landstar.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Assists center traffic with general requests and incoming calls

Perform as a back-up for other center personnel which may include class instruction

Aid with clerical work

Develop rapport with vendors and other departments to maintain supply chain for center

Offer potential solutions when problems arise with the team, customer or work load

Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to inspire/motivate others

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work in a multi-task orientated environment

Strong initiative to support drivers needs when visiting the center

Ability to perform quality work with minimal supervision and manage time wisely

PREFERRED SKILLS

Prior exposure to trucking industry and/or Landstar

Proficient with current technology

Public speaking or educational experience

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Three months to one year related experience required

Valid drivers license required
CDL with Doubles endorsement
Doubles experience  

Three months to one year for proficiency in role
