SUMMARY
Motivate and lead staff to accomplish goals. Ensure work meets deadlines and accuracy expectations. Identify automated improvements to the release process to help efficiency.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Manage a team of 11 to 15 individuals to include training, scheduling work, performance appraisals, hiring, and firing
- Responsible for the flow of changes through the environments using Release Management in the least disruptive manner, culminating in successful deployments into the production environment.
- Balance agility, flexibility and control while maintaining a high velocity and processing changes between the environments.
- Provide strong and accurate communications with the teams including IT and business partners.
- Organize workflow and ensure individual contributors understand duties and delegated tasks
- Oversee, communicate, and plan changes including development, system test, integration test, performance test, and user acceptance test
- Ensure all the components of a software release line up with the business requirements
- Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed to meet required standards
- Own technical product roadmap and provide guidance
- Take responsibility for production application support
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Thorough understanding and experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, make presentations, and conduct meetings as needed
- Superb interpersonal skills with professional demeanor
- Good organizational skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Azure Cloud experience
- Experience with full-stack development with Microsoft suite
- Experience with web development with Angular
- Knowledge of Agile process
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 8 years of equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of managerial and technical experience
