Test Support Engineer

If so, Kirby Risk Manufacturing has an opportunity for you as a Test Support Engineer at the Service Center in Lafayette, IN.

We want to talk with you if you can:

• Analyze customer requirements and provide them with the best solution in the most cost-effective manner.
• Design and write test specifications for harness testing projects
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and principles to solve testing problems and improve test operations.
• Ensure performance of all quality standards pertaining to harness manufacturing and testing.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and IATF quality standards on all projects.
• Assist engineering harness personnel and production personnel with any testing issues.

Role Requirements:   

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field. Electrical degree preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Customer Service Excellence
• Superior Computer Skills
• Strong aptitude for Electrical Testing

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
• Harness testing or equivalent test experience is plus! (Cirris; CableScan; CableEye; etc.)

Hours and Travel:

7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Minimal overtime or travel
