ROLE SUMMARY

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing and controlling of all inventory to fulfill the demands of production and maintain adequate supply of materials.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the movement of inventory balances between MMT warehouses.  Assure that all physical and electronic inventory movements are coordinated and executed on a timely basis.
  • Prepare required documentation to support movement of material between MMT facilities and perform required ERP transactions to document movement.
  •  Escalate stock outs and release needs to Procurement, QCD and MQA PCT’s to ensure material availiability.
  • Assist the Logistics Receiving team in resolution of Supplier Corrections.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for all inventory handling including efficient infrastructure layouts.
  • Administer MMT cycle count process including investigation and resolution of discrepancies and obtaining appovals and posting approved variances.
  • Coordinate material disposals in accordance with the MDA process and environmental (e.g RCRA, EPA and DOT) compliance.
  • Daily and weekly reporting of key inventory metrics
  • Validate inventory movements with proper shipping and receiving documentation from all sites.
  • Participate in the planning, execution and reconciliation of physical inventories as directed by Finance or Logistics leadership.
  • Draft and revise SOP’s to accurately reflect the current inventory control regulatory requirements.
  • Support Warehouse Management with other tasks as assigned.
  • Qualified to work with controlled substances.
  • Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Business or Science and a minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills (oral and in written form)
  • Must possess basic math skills and computer skills.
  • Ability to organize, problem solve and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • General understanding of supply chain fundamentals and materials management fundamentals. APICS/ASCM         
  • Pharmaceutical experience and demonstrated technical skills exhibited in a cGMP environment.
  • Experience performing  inventory management transactions and reporting within an ERP system PRISM/D365.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access
