We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for Inspector roles. We have openings on both the 1st and 2nd shift. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strict adherence to all batch record instructions, SOP’s, cGMP’s and all applicable Departmental Procedures.
  • Qualify on manual and automated inspection systems.
  • Visually inspect units for defects.
  • Weight checks basic units for correct fill volume.
  • Maintain proper accountability records (i.e. tally sheets, label preparation, batch record information, etc.)
  • Perform appropriate departmental housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, orderly and safe work environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus 1-year relevant work experience or Veterans / Military experience or associate degree in a science related discipline.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic math and reading comprehension (meet minimal test requirements); minimal training/experience; unskilled work; detailed instructions.
• All new external applicants will be required to pass an assessment test.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform calculations for percent accountabilities, reconciliation of numerical values.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is required to stand and walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must achieve a score of 8 or better for near vision (14”) with both eyes, using the Titmus II vision tester or 20/25 on a nearpoint Snellen acuity card at 16”. Acceptable visual acuity is a Snellen fraction of 20/25 or greater. They must have normal color vision by Ishihara screening.
