This position will lead our Quality Extractable and leachable group that is responsible for the clearance of key components for our delivery systems. 

Kindeva is navigating a period of dynamic change and growth based on numerous business opportunities in its pipeline. It partners with global pharmaceutical companies to commercialize products, primarily through inhalation and transdermal delivery technologies. We are looking for a talented Quality Manager to join our team. The person would lead a Quality team in Woodbury with their main responsibilities around the clearance of plastic and elastomer components.

Summary of Position:

This role is responsible for the Quality Control Group at the Woodbury Sites. This person will lead the Quality Control Group with the focus of quality operations in the testing of key components for the business.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the Quality group at the Woodbury site that focuses on component testing for key elements of our drug delivery systems.
• Work closely with the manufacturing sites on the operational requirements on product testing on the overall supply chain of our products.
• Implement continuous improvement programs that improve the effectiveness or efficiency in the clearance of components.
• Responsible for the reference standards program for the business.

Key Working Relationships:

This role must maintain strong working relationships cross-functionally with leaders, employees, and external partners across the global enterprise. This position reports to the VP of Quality.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years’ work experience working in a regulated business.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interface with internal customers, management, and outside suppliers
• Works effectively in a cross functional team environment
• Continuous Improvement mindset

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree with a technical background
• Certified Six Sigma Black belt or equivalent.
• Team Leader or direct supervision of a group of professionals
• Health Care industry experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
