1st Shift Fabrication Technician - Full Time

KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in our Weld/Fabrication department for a full time Fabrication Technician.  

The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks ranging from operation of saw, robotic welders, and benders.  May perform brazing operations and spot weld.  Technicians are responsible for loading material into various machines to join components.  Inspect completed metal workpieces to ensure consistent quality product in a fast-paced environment. 

This is a first shift position.  The hours are primarily 6a-2p Monday - Friday with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

Successful candidates will be highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and have previous weld and fabrication experience.  Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and know how to read shop orders and open orders.  Must have ability to work on feet for long periods of time.  Experience with CNC bending, brake and/or turret presses is highly preferred.  Candidate must pay attention to quality and detail work at a continuous pace and be able to work with minimal supervision.  Successful completion of a drug screen is required for all employees.
