CAD Specialist

KI has an opening for a CAD Specialist based out of our Corporate Headquarters. This position will be located on-site at our Corporate Office in Green Bay, WI.  The start date for this position will be towards the end of May.
 
The CAD Specialist is responsible for creating accurate 2D & 3D drawings along with colored renderings of our product through collaboration with Project Managers, Designers, Installers, Architects, Sales Support and/or Clients while incorporating proper Egress and ADA Accessibility. The CAD Specialist will be working with our fixed seating product group. KI Recently started using CET, the industry standard for space planning. CET training will be provided. Any previous knowledge of CET is considered a plus.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Spaceplan per requested specifications of Client and/or Sales Support
• Responsible for layout designs, beginning with conceptual through detailed visual representation and creation of bill of material for order
• Maintain project tracking software to meet goals of department
• Provide feedback to internal and external resources in order to improve our CAD/CET drawings
• Comply with any applicable ISO standards
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in managing the pre-sales relationship with select Key Accounts
• Create and assemble collateral material into presentation documents which can include finish selection
• Verify accuracy of field dimensions taken by others 
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
•  Associate’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
•  1-3 years of AutoCAD Drafting experience preferred
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to read and understand 2D prints and 3D geometry
• Must possess strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills including both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with various personalities
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and/or in a group setting
• Ability to multi-task 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot project related issues
