We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our Mid Atlantic sales team in Virginia.  This is a full-time position and will work from KI's Sales showroom in Tysons Corner, VA.  Some flexibility to work remotely is allowed.

 

In this position you will work closely with KI Sales Specialists, Dealers and Customers to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.  You will provide direct support in CAD/CET, space planning, quoting, finish recommendations and project qualification.  At times you may participate in customer presentations and will effectively be persuasive in communicating design ideas. Additionally, a portion of your time may be spent providing pre-sales and/or post-sales support including customer experience functions within the showroom. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s degree in drafting, interior design, architectural design or related field.  Some previous commercial furniture design experience is helpful. Strong AutoCAD or CET proficiency and rendering skills desired.  Professional written and oral communications skills along with strong visual and spatial awareness.
