Position Overview:
Provide technical support and expertise to manufacturing, lead and support capital projects, utilize 5S as a template for all work and personal spaces, keep policies and manuals current, communicate with vendors, create documents for work being performed, complete ROI’s, while being a strong and professional member of the Engineering Department.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited post-secondary institution, with a degree in Engineering

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Experience with mechatronics engineering preferred
  • Experience in dealing with confidential information required
  • Successful project management experience required
  • Experience with lasers, turret punches, hydraulic brakes/punches, robotics and PLC programming/controls preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency in Office Suite, AutoCAD
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement the resolution
  • Ability to negotiate with contractors
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Developed leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking skills
