We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our sales team in New York. This is a full-time position and will work from KI's Sales showroom in New York City.  


In this position you will work closely with KI Sales Specialists, Dealers and Customers to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.  You will provide direct support in CAD/CET, space planning, quoting, finish recommendations and project qualification.  At times you may participate in customer presentations and will effectively be persuasive in communicating design ideas. Additionally, a portion of your time may be spent providing pre-sales and/or post sales support including customer experience functions. 


The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design or a related field.  Some previous commercial furniture design experience desired. Strong AutoCAD proficiency and rendering skills required, CET desired, along with strong visual and spatial awareness.

Your achievements will be recognized and rewarded with a generous compensation plan with base salary between $75 and $90k.
