Senior Manager of Digital Analytics, Marketing
The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics has a key role in Jackson Hewitt’s Digital Marketing strategy. This role will provide vital insights into Digital performance and help the business make decisions informed by data to grow conversion and revenue.
The primary role of the Senior Manager, Digital Analytics is to drive digital marketing improvements through data-led analysis and insights. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy delivering not just the “what”, but also the “why”. You need to be comfortable learning new tools and use analytical approaches to make recommendations, and passionately advocate for changes that will help the team deliver continuous improvements to Digital KPIs.
What you’ll do here:
- Lead analytics and reporting for Digital Marketing
- Lead development and own reports/dashboards using Google Analytics and other marketing analytics tools related to website behavior and business performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to setup and implement all aspects of new campaign rollout, including performance tracking and optimization
- Make actionable recommendations to improve Digital performance and group KPIs
- Design and develop customer journey reports by combining insights from digital analytics data with core business data to identify opportunities for optimization across different customer acquisition channels
- Work closely with Marketing leaders to create yearly goals for all channels
- Embody Continuous Improvement philosophy to improve existing workflows
Skills you’ll bring for success:
- Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in digital marketing – owned and paid channels (ex: Display, SEM, SEO, Social), media – and web analytics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Google Analytics (Universal Analytics 360 or GA4) for generating insights from digital marketing data and setup/manage campaigns (Tag/Pixel Management, Triggers, Properties/View/Segments, UTM, etc.)
- Experience generating actionable insights using Google Search Console for main site is a must (experience with local office pages is a big plus)
- 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment to uncover insights from data and use quantitative methods to find opportunities for optimization
- 2+ years’ experience liaising with channel owners to setup, track and optimize digital and CRM campaigns
- 2+ years’ experience building and/or managing reports/dashboards using BI tools (ex: Looker Studio, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.) with high visibility (senior leadership and large audience)
- Experience managing partnerships with digital marketing vendors/consultants
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills, portfolio prioritization and ownership
- Prompt stakeholder management via excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good to have (not required to apply, but willing to learn on role):
- Familiarity with SQL and/or other programming language,
- Familiarity with Customer Data Platform (CDP) & Identity Data Management Platform (IDMP),
- Familiarity developing dashboards/reports using BI tools, and
- Familiarity with A/B testing, Media Mix Model (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
