Product Specialist 
 
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Creation, verification, and management of SOPs
• Implementation of error proof processes
• Close out of low level PCMs
• Support for PI and NPI change
• Support for kaizen initiatives
• Assist in tooling and fixture improvements/replacement

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic problem-solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical assembly, fabrication, and paint repairs
• Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes
• High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications

§  Associates degree in relevant course work

§  Two years reading and interpreting blueprints in a manufacturing environment

§  Proven experience at mechanical repairs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP
• Ability to learn and operate hand measuring tools.
• General knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding processes
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented and self-directed
• Multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency
• Flexibility with work activities; available for overtime
• Ability to operate full range of JCB equipment or demonstrated ability to learn
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

Job Conditions:       

• Both office environment and manufacturing/factory environment
• Subject to noise, dusty environment, and temperature changes

• Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed
• Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force
• Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment
