As a Senior Accountant, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by supporting our agency in its day to day operations, which includes our network of the thrift stores; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in accounting, with progressive responsibility
  • Exposure to grant budgeting techniques and processes
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Office Professional Suite, with advanced skills in Excel

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for the development of all types of grant budgets and forecasts and facilitating expense control and compliance with grant or contract reporting requirements
  • Advises grants and department managers regarding eligible grant funds
  • Use specialized software applications and computer systems to process, extract data and analyze data and solve problems
  • Preparation of 1099 filings

 

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
